GRAAF JAN VAN ROOM
This intimate meeting room is a room in the ”Boerderij” in our courtyard, and is named after the founder of the Union of Utrecht: Jan van Nassau, a young brother of Willem van Oranje and ancestor of the current members of the Royal Family. The Union of Utrecht was signed 23 January 1579 by several Dutch regions. The agreement states, among other things, that they will work together to chase away the Spaniards.
